"Sweet, kids will love it." 2010-01-21

I bought Wall-e for my daughter for X-mas and she's playing together with her older brother with Wall-e and Eva. They just love pretending being like in the movie.

"Fantastic pal for our interactive Eve!" 2009-12-06
By J. J. Marino (Rochester, New York)
We got Eve last Christmas for our daughter. It still is alive a year later so we decided to get this for our son. We took it out to play with it before wrapping to make sure it worked well and communicated with Eve. It is super cute and as expressive as Eve is. They do talk to each other with sayings from the movie; "Eeeeevahhhhh, Weaaalleeee" perfect!

The quality is just as good as Eve and I expect it to last a long time. I cant believe Eve still works over a year later. If Wall-E lasts as long it is one of the best we have ever purchased!

The tracks turn on the wheels and Wall-E is poseable. He is so much cheaper this year compared to last year. Very worth it in my opinion.

I will update this review after we play with it alot Christmas Day. For now I am very happy with this purchase and it completes the set.

Thank you for reading this little review, more to come!

"Kids love it, but wheels came broken" 2009-10-04
By G. Pasternack
My understanding is that the wheels are supposed to roll freely, but on the unit I received one of them is frozen solid. Maybe it was improperly glued. Nothing I can do will free it up. The arms can be pulled off, but then you can pop them right back on. The kids like it otherwise, although after ~10 minutes the sounds drive everyone a little crazy. Now where did I place my sledgehammer...

I gave this to my austic nephew and he love the movie and enjoys this toy. He plays the voice over and over again. Arms came off pretty fast and neck is a little weak, but great toy.

"Nice but not much action for the price" 2009-02-19
By T. Eng (Portland Oregon)
I saw this at a party and thought it would be good for my son. I couldn't find one available at a local store, so I bought from Amazon. I should have tried it out more, because I thought it did more than bark and shake it's head. I also didn't realize the rope is sewn into the mouth of the dog. My son still likes it as it's a very realistic looking dog, but I think it's a little expensive for what you get.

 "Holiday Gag Gift" 2009-01-06

Initially I bought this as a gag gift since my 4 yr old son and my wife was hollaring for a dog, they didn't seem to think it was funny but I sure did!!! Still laughing actually, but it was a nice gift.

"My 4 yr old loves it!" 2009-01-05
By S. Taylor (Baltimore, MD)
The picture showing is missing the rope that is attatched to the mouth of the Beagle. I do wish the rope was detachable, but it isn't. My daughter loves the dog! She got him for Christmas and has played with him everyday. She has begged to take him with us everywhere we go. The dog's tugging action isn't that exciting, but he is much cuter than this picture shows and he was much softer than I expected.

 "Adorable" 2008-06-27
By Barbara Washburn (San Diego, CA United States)
The only issue I had was, per the description, I expected the dog to actually play tug of war, but it doesn't. It's a programmed action which lasts about 30 seconds. When you squeeze it's paw it just shakes it's head, growls, whines, wags it's tail and barks. But they are soft and cuddly, and the kids I bought them for loved them."

 "Good facts, old technology" 2010-01-14
By Julia Childs
This was a X-mas gift for a 4 year old. Not much to hold his attention. No lights or interaction besides pressing the buttons. He enjoys pressing the buttons, but you get the same info everytime. No variation in information presented. Each country is delivered in the same voice, in the same rythem, the same intonation. Only thing that changes is the numbers and names. Sounds like listening to the automated customer help voice.

He has picked up some of the information about various countries, but it just doesn't hold his attention.

Probably better suited for someone who has the patience to sit and listen.

"Could it Be Any Louder???" 2010-01-11
By K (Saco, ME)
This toy arrived without any instructions, so I called the company that we purchased it from (Back to Basics Toys) and they said they would get us the instructions before Christmas. They never did and never have since. We put batteries in and the thing basically SCREAMED at us so I called Back to Basics Toys again to ask how to contol the volume since we didn't have any instructions. Guess what? You can't control the volume. IT JUST YELLS ALL THE TIME. We sent it back, with any luck they will credit us back our money.

"not a hit at my house" 2010-01-04
By justanothermom (Norcross, GA United States)
This was a gift for my 8 year old son. He loves non-fiction and learning about science and recently began drawing maps of the world. Naturally, I thought this would be a great fit for him. Unfortunately, it hasn't caught his attention and I'm not sure why. I can tell you that in the game mode he was stymied by the questions: such as "which country has an area of 4 million square miles?" - Australia. It might have worked better if it had offered some suggestions: Australia, Russia or Canada. Rather than pondering a map of the world and its many many countries. And then in a series of facts/questions he was asked/told this particular question three times in slightly different versions. So for now, I can't give it a great review. He hasn't touched it since that first time testing it out. If I later discover him enjoying it like the other reviews here I will certainly jump back on amazon and amend this review. I do think this could be a great toy for a child, but I guess I want to make sure others know it's not a sure thing.

 "Required" 2009-10-06

Great customer service from the creaters of the textbook. I scratched the code to hard and I was not able to read the online access information. However, I was able to call customer service at 6AM on Sunday morning and they were able to solve the problem. Text is very dense. I would recommend the pocket companion and the guyton and hall physiology review book for practice problems.

"Title should be: Concepts Made Complicated" 2009-03-04
By PhishMan
Ok everyone raves about this book. It is true that this book covers everything you need to know. However, the trick is not to get lost in their ridiculously long explanations that are repeated over and over and over each chapter. Seriously, this book could be condensed to half the size. Further, they mention a couple sentences about a concept and then quit and say "more on this to come later". They probably do that about a thousand times. Truthfully, i just got annoyed by reading the book. It is obnoxious and everything, from their graphs to their flow charts, is made to sound more complicated that it has to be and is encoded in erroneous/needless fluff. Medical students do not have much time, THAT IS TO SAY time is valuable, WHICH MEANS there is not much of it, SO YOU COULD CONCLUDE you should use time efficiently AND THIS MEANS... - if you found the previous sentence pointless and annoying, go with something else, perhaps BRS!

 "Stay away!" 2009-01-11
By Magoo
"I ordered "The Textbook of Medical Physiology" 11th edition by Guyton and Hall. The books (a 2 volume set) came but the covers look like they have water damage and the pages look photocopied. The text was supposed to have colored pictures, but they are all black and white. The binding is broken on both of the books and when you open the books the pages are not firmly attached and are falling out in clumps due to binding problems. The covers are not firmly attached to the binding of the book either. Overall, these appear to be copies of the text, and nothing similar to the actual book. It's almost as if it was photocopied and put in a binding. The print doesn't even line up properly on the page The figures are only partially visible, and there is noticeable outlining (like from photo copying). Having seen several copies of the book, this is definitely NOT the original text. ". I sent a few emails which were answered and they refused to refund my money claiming I could have already read the 1000 pages of the text book. Over all I WILL NOT AND WOULD NOT buy anything from this seller.
